We welcome you a new artist to the label called Left Behind!
"Left Behind was launched in January of 2009, with the aim to create American punk-rock with rich and melodic musical lines. The leading subject of their lyrics refers to daily experiences and real life, which naturally bring about various sensations and feelings in contrast with the mundane standard of living set by modern society. In the first few months the band wrote about ten songs, serving as a swift heralding of their punk-rock style. In the same year, the band took part in the contest "Sonore Polluzioni," reaching 2nd place out of 33 bands. Following this success, they headed to the studio from January to September 2010. Their debut album was titled "Learn to Walk," a 14-track record, completely self-financed. The album was very well received by fans. This provided plenty of motivation to continue performing live with other local punk rock bands such as Baraonda, Crancy Crock, Subgruppo Devasto and Mecheros, later becoming a member of the label Samoan Records. In November, Left Behind played with a band from the roots of the English punk scene; The Vibrators (which, throughout the years, have collaborated with artists such as the Sex Pistols, The Exploited and Iggy Pop). In December, Left Behind took part in the ESP Music Village in Montecampione, a contest organized by several producers and Italian labels. They won solid reviews by the judges for "Learn to Walk," notably from an seasoned veteran of the genre, Daniel Marcoccia, former editor of magazine Rocksound Italy. Their music was later played on “Radio Lupo Solitario”, an acclaimed radio station in Italy, where the band sat in for a live interview in the program "Rock Tea Party." During 2011, they further intensified their live performance to fortify the release of “Learn to Walk.” Shows in Milan, Vicenza, Modena, Savona, and Olbia all took place throughout the year. In July, Radio Pianeta promoted "Learn to Walk" during the program "Low Fidelity. " Left Behind worked with Samoan Records to produce a compilation featuring songs from the entire label, that was distributed in 500 free copies. Shortly after, "Walk Alone" was chosen as the song for three compilations, "Punk Goes MP3 Vol.3", "L’angolo Della Follia" and "My Own Poison Compilation Vol.1." In March 2012, Left Behind released "Away From Here", their second LP, co-produced with Samoan Records and Gaste Records. Recently Left Behind signed a two-year recording contract with This Is Core, and became a featured artist of Get Some! Records, an American label. The band ends their second year with 26 performances in northern Italy."
